Love is PATIENT...

Another week has come and gone!  I am finding a hard time to capture words today...so I am just going to leave you with these pictures...

When the weather doesn't permit for bubbles to be blown outside, we just blow them in Mommy's sink anyways!

BATH time before daddy and Drake's night out!

A little paint job on the tub! :)

He was sooo confused as to why I wasn't going to dinner with them BUT they had a great time!

Dancing at the Birthday party...has to always steal the attention! Wonder where he gets that!?  Ahem...Jason LEE!!

Poppa brought his tractor over to move the shed today.  "OHHHH BOY!" Drake shrieked! It was soo stinkin' cute.  Poppa asked him if he could leave it for a while.  Drake placed his hand on his hip and closed his eyes, exhaled slowly and then said "YES!!!"  His personality is soo adorable.

Just see sawin'

This photo melts my heart.  Poppa had said goodbye and Drake let him get a good ways away before he decided he needed just one more HUG!  I am sooo happy that I had my camera with me.  Ohh, wait, I always have my camera with me.

LOVE HIM!!

Drinking from my saucer...

"I am drinking from my saucer because my cup has overflowed!"

Life is GREAT, isn't it?!  This week was filled with God's work and his praise.  Got to hang with my little man on Monday.  Started a bible study with a good friend, that I think is going to be an awesome study!  Worked Wednesday and got to spend a little time with my GMA! Had a low key Thursday night, at home with my two favorites!  And here we are Friday.  Drake and I have enjoyed the day at home, with a few errands to be run and then I'm off to watch a friend try on wedding dresses...soo excited and happy for you Megan!  The boys are going to set out for a dinner date.  LOVE that Jason wants to treat Drake. :)

Daddy taught Drake this, without even directly teaching him...MONKEY see, MONKEY DO!

So CUTE!!

Happy end of the WEEK y'all!!

Rainy Monday...

So, today on this rainy Monday...while everyone was busily working at work, I was lounging at home!  I do usually work on Mondays and have looong days but this is my slllloooowwww time at work.  I had one client first thing this morning, returned to pick a very happy little boy up and informed him of our whole day together :)  Makes my heart sooo happy, that he loves his mommy so much!

While Drake napped, I worked on my just a few days late "new years resolution".  I don't think I have ever had a new years resolution.  Mostly because I probably wouldn't stick to a "diet" or "workout" new years resolution...and that seems to be the number one resolution!  Anyways...mine is to pray more, and more diligently!  So, with that being said I have developed a prayer journal.  I am overly excited about this journal and all the things that encompasses. I have made a vow, to at least write in it once a week BUT I very much so hope that I get to more often than that!

While I cooked us up and YUMMY dinner, Drake (aka my shadow) stacked cooking dishes!

When GOD gives you rainy days, give your kids piggy back rides! :)

My Prayer Journal...

I will be praying individually for our family members, as well as other major topics such as; Grace, Faithfulness, Forgiveness and Healing.

Happy Monday...have a good rest of the week!

Weekend in a NUTshell

This weekend was a GREAT one!!  It's rare that I rave about a weekend being "great" or good, when Jason is at the deer lease but this one just was.  Started off not so "great" but all worked out well!

From the beginning...Friday I had a doctor's appt, so it being UB's last weekend here before heading back to school, I asked him if he could keep Drake for me and of course I had to bribe him with none other than, FOOD!  LOL  I think I have shared on this subject before but maybe not?  Drake has horrible separation anxiety, still at 2 1/2.  It's not hit and miss either, he is very consistent on the fact that he doesn't like to be without his MOMMY!!  We go through this BIG, HUGE long drawn out ordeal, every time I have to drop him off, ANYWHERE...Church on Sunday, Church on Tue/Thur., MY MIL (which keeps him while I work)  sometimes when Jason gets home, I'll have an errand that I want to run, alone and he even does horribly then, with his own DADDY!  Anyways, you get the point.  So, I was fully prepared and had warned Clinton on how bad it can be.  When it was time for me to leave, Drake looked up at me and said, "Mommy, you gotta go bye bye?" I said; "Yes, you take good care of UB and I'll be back lickity split!"  he literally one arm hugged me and ran off to UB's arms.  WOW...you can only guess my reaction!! They had a GREAT time:)  When I got home, I cooked Clinton and his girlfriend Megan a yummy lunch and then put D down for his nap, from there I went on to annihilate Clinton in Kinect, BAHAHA!!  For dinner I made, per Clinton's request; beef enchiladas and dessert was brownie's in the waffle maker, topped with vanilla ice cream, thanks PINTEREST!

Saturday was BUSY...I worked then we went out to GP.  Got to explore a sweet friends new pad...so proud for Brittany and Michael, and their new house!! We ended Saturday with a YUMMY dinner at Texas Roadhouse, with Gma, Pappy, Clinton and Megan.  Our service was really crummy...of course of all the people to forget to ring in an order for, they forgot Drake's!  All was well though, he took ahold of Pappy's blooming onion and devoured about 1/4 of it, along with Gma's ribs and Ub's steak!  LOL!!  All that playing hard with Michael, up and down the stairs, made him HUNGRY!

"That is not a racetrack Drake!!"  "I know mommy, I am just pretending."  Now, you keep a straight face and scold again!

Our Uverse was out all weekend, so we had to watch everything on the IPAD.  This is what I was talking about being a bad start to the weekend BUT it ended up so good because we quickly ran out of Mickey Mouse episodes stored on the IPAD and had to resort to our imagination and playing like the "old days" without all the TV blah!!!  It was so refreshing!

This could keep this child occupied for HOURS!!!

He's so sweet!

Negotiations!!

Paw Paw and D getting warm by a REAL fire, LOL!

LOVE him sooo much!!  Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend! :)

Hanging out...

On this first week in 2012, we as the LEE family...relaxed.  Something that doesn't seem to happen as often as we'd like.

Here are the boys, enjoying our propane fire, that doesn't warm you at all BUT it's sooo pretty!

Then there's Jason the best bull on the block! LOL...Drake gets in full character while riding!  It's so cute to watch the two of them play their "boy" games!

NEW Years 2011

So...Christmas at the Lee household was very Merry.  We enjoyed lots of family time and friends, etc.  However, we had a quick change of direction of enjoyment the week after.  Drake got croup!!:(  This was his third time having it in a year and a half.  I had read for hours and hours about croup on the internet, when he first got it...scared to death!!  But his first two bouts with it just didn't measure up to all the hype I had heard and or read about.  Sadly, this time was not so lucky.  He had it really bad!!  Croup is a viral infection, that they can't give you anything for, so there is no point in going to the doctor and paying $30 and hearing so.  Well, it got so bad that it became worth it for me to load him up and head to Dr. Towns, at least for him to put me at ease.  I spent 2.25 hours outside bouncing Drake like a baby, rocking back and forth to calm his bronchial tubes down, as well as another hour with the freezer door opened.  I was soooo exhausted, I guess I simply made it through the days by the grace of GOD!  Anyways, Dr. T was out, so we had to see Hunke (he's alright)  he gave us an antibiotic and steroid because Drake's condition was so bad! He was a much better child within 24 hours.  But he still didn't stop that darn cough for days...Needless to stay our New Years was very mellow.  We cooked out and stayed in playing Kinect, eating ice cream, bowling (Drake style)  we had a great night!  New Years day we started our day in the best place on earth...Cowboy Church of ellis county!!

HAPPY New Year everyone!!
