Decorations!!

Jason surprised us and came home on Saturday night.  Drake and I were both asleep but we were so happy Sunday morning!  After Church, we had a LIIIIISSSSTTTT of things to accomplish; I wont bore you with it but I will say, it was long.  Sunday night, after a yummy dinner...we decorated the tree.  There are some ornaments, I would of placed in different areas but I am going to be a good mommy and leave them where Drake saw fit!  (Yes, yes I am!!)

Please excuse the TV box in the background...Jason just hasn't gotten around to it:)

He was singing Jingle bells the whole time:)

Stockings...can't wait to STUFF the boys, I got some GOOD stuffers!

The finished project!

This am Drake was a little chilly eating his breakfast, he requested his Mickey blanket. :)

Long week...ONE blog!

Happy Thanksgiving ya'll!!

I hope everyone enjoyed there families and time off from work, as we did in our family.  Thanksgiving, mmmm....MY FAVORITE!  I have always loved this particular holiday the most.  I often, thought it was because it's just about FOOD but as I have gotten older, I have placed that it's sooo much less chaotic.  Everyone is relaxed, there isn't any pressure riding on your mind about gift giving, etc.  It is all about the GOOD EATS though, too!  Thanksgiving was the same, yet a little different this year. We headed to Combine, first...to eat with Jason's family.  Then as Jason and his dad headed to the lease, Drake and I made our venture to Hurst, to see my parts!  Man, oh man did I eat, LOTS AND LOTS of food, accompanied by YUM-tastic desserts!

Me and the brother...he's 23 now...WOW!

Syd giving Drake his bath.

LIGHTS out, bath LIGHTS on!

I have taken a picture of Drake beside this decoration on the counter every year...so sad that he's getting soooo BIG!

Muffin MAN!

Friday, Drake and I stayed home.  We baked and put up Christmas deco. Not the tree, we will wait for Daddy on Sunday.

Uncle Buck came to see Drake for awhile:)

Sooo....last year Drake refused to sit in Santa's lap and I refused to make him.  Some of my friends made there children and the although, the pictures are kinda funny when the child and Santa both are like "PLEASE let this be over!"  I am just not one to torture my child.  You have to hear this story...Gramma, Drake and I headed out for a short outing Saturday afternoon, to the Irving mall (gramma lives 10 mins away, I never would of chosen this mall otherwise,LOL!)  As we were walking along, Drake spotted Santa, he jumped out of the stroller and bee-lined straight to the bearded man...gave him a high five and climbed up in his lap, like he knew just what he was doing!  As I picked my jaw up off the ground, I looked at the camera lady and stuttered out; "will you please take a picture?"  Snap and it was done!  Obviously, not my choice of attire and there was no fixing of the hair done but ya know what??  It's a DARN CUTE photo!!  The story behind it makes it the BEST!

It's beginning to look a LOT like CHRISTmas!!!

Happy 30th birthday to JASON!!

I can finally reveal this to EVERYONE!!!  We celebrated Jason's 30th bday this past weekend.  I planned a SURPRISE party for this special occasion.  If you know me, then that should be enough to said about my name and surprise all in the same sentence but since some of you may not, I'll go ahead and share.  I DON'T do well at SURPRISES!!  You see, I just get soooo excited that I just spill it everywhere!!  HA HA.  I did an AWESOME job at this, until the day of.  I was just running around like a chicken with my head chopped off, and I didn't have very good reasonings for this behavior, therefore the wheels in Jason's head started to turn and he is a VERY persistent person.  He didn't know the extent of it, so it was still very surprising to him. :)

Sunday was his actual birthday.  Drake and I woke up, made him his favorites for breakfast.  The rest of the day was another surprise for him.  I loaded us up in the truck and started to drive.  I never drive the family, kinda felt funny:)  Anyways,  I dropped Drake at Gramma's and Jason and I headed to Coppell for lunch at his favorite BBQ place, Hard Eight's.  I must say I was equally excited about eating this ohhh my goodness food!!  Then, we headed to BPro for some browsing and purchasing!  Finally we ended at Best Buy, where we purchased a 50" flat screen 3D TV...man ohhh man is it ever the coolest!! So you might be thinking Geez, they kinda go all out for birthdays.  Yes, why we most certainly do, especially when you turn 30!!

I LOVE HIM!!!

Lately...

So...I know, I know.  I started this blog off so nicely.  I did regular entries and everything seemed up to date.  AND then, I fell off, slowly but surely.  Anyways, I apologize for the out of orderness ( I know that is not a word but I like it!)  that is about to occur.

We will start with Friday, last Friday.  Another one spent with Gramma and Pappy.  Drake and I headed North, North Grand Prairie that is for the day.  We had a good ol time, what else would you expect from the finest entertainment around these parts.  Gramma is probably the best Gramma in the WORLD, I know everyone that has a good one, is probably shaking there head at this but it's true, MINE is the BEST!!!

After our stay with my g-parents, we headed back to Midlo and were greeted by these two CUTE, CUTE blondies, Harleigh and Addison.  My mom brought them over as a SURPRISE to all of us.  We begged Uncle Todd for them to be able to spend the night. :) We had a great time!!!  Had a yummy dinner, went to DQ and hung out!! YAY for COUSINS!!

Lazy Friday night

These are a little out of order...

Friday night, we just went to dinner and out for ice cream and straight home to the bath and jammies.  We all got into our bed and watched The Sword and the Stone.  It was a great, relaxing evening :)

Kinda Jealous...

So, as I have mentioned before; Saturdays are busy days.  This Saturday Jason was actually in town (not at the deer lease) but that didn't stop my sweet outdoors lovin' hubby from getting his "fix"  He, Drake and Captain(Justin) headed to the Ranch in Corsicana for some: fishing, shootin' and Ranger riding.  All the while, I worked:(   Jason was sure to send my loads of pictures that he took on his phone, so I was pleased.  Before they left, I was able to snap a few photos...Drake loves going to the Ranch, so he was all amped up and I couldn't get any "cheeses"  I really prefer action shots anyways but every once in a while it's nice to see that sweet smile.

Captain was trying to get D to stand by him and do the "Lane Frost" but like I mentioned, that wasn't happening!

I was acting super goofy, trying to help!

Yes, this is a lighter, gun...it doesn't work, it never has.  So, please rest assured that my sweet child is in not sort of danger.  We are good parents, LOL!! It's just his size and he loves to "pretend hunt" just like Daddy:)

Out of touch...

Well, HELLO again.  This has been a BUSY, busy week.  Which is a good thing, because it means we are doing well. :)  It's Friday afternoon, Drake and I are just waiting on daddy's arrival and we are off to dinner.  This is something that rarely happens, we (well, I) generally cook dinner at home.  Which we both prefer but sometimes, it is nice to go out to eat, ya know??

A little catch up, on life here in the Lee house hold...I went to an infertility doctor on Wednesday (Dr. Anil Pinto) referred by a very reliable and trust worthy source, man she steered me in the right direction; he was GREAT!  I am on birth control, to give my body the proper amount of estrogen and prog. needed to function well enough to menstruate. I NEVER EVER THOUGHT I'D WANT A PERIOD but man oh man do I!!!  So anyways, taking this for 5 months, praying it will be the cure but if not, I will need to give myself injections of the hormones, in order to conceive.  Doctor says, he doesn't think it will come to that BUT if it does, I will have an immediate response.

Now onto what everyone really likes to see and talk about... DrAkE...

This is how he approached me Tuesday afternoon.  Silly little guy, he is!

He's such a daddy's little helper, Jason wouldn't call it help BUT he's just too cute to deny his "help!"

Drake LOVES mickey mouse and all of his friends...

The GANGS all here!! :)

HAPPY WEEKEND ALL!!
